Kaleidoscope (single piece)

Mixed media work examining repetition, symmetry, and perception through architectural form. By mirroring and multiplying a single structure, the image dissolves fixed orientation and scale, transforming a familiar streetscape into a patterned field. The work reflects how place and culture can be reshaped through repetition, memory, and visual rhythm.

There’s something childlike about a kaleidoscope. You turn it and the world reorganizes instantly. But underneath that simplicity is complexity, geometry, pattern, order inside chaos.

This piece reflects how I see Bermuda, and life more broadly. Shifting perspectives. Familiar elements constantly rearranged. Beauty that comes from fragmentation rather than uniformity.
